Dr. Christopher Trust has been practicing veterinary medicine for over nine years. Originally from New Jersey, he has lived in San Antonio for more than seven years with his wife, Clarissa, and their dog, Belle. A 2012 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Trust specializes in ultrasonography, including abdominal, neck, cardiac scans, and tissue sampling. His interests also include internal medicine, endocrinology, cardiology, dentistry, and senior pet care. Outside work, he enjoys traveling, ice hockey, the outdoors, and cooking.

Dr. Taylor Curtis, born and raised in Bryan, TX, knew early on she wanted to be a vet. She earned a Biology degree from Southwestern University in 2018 and her DVM from Texas A&M in 2023. She enjoys all areas of vet medicine, especially dentistry. Outside work, she loves working out, two-stepping, and spending time with her fiance and pets - cat Binx, pitties Lilac and Lana, and her newest addition, Oscar.

Dr. Taylor Curtis

Dr. Erik Montelongo, born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, has loved animals since childhood. He graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and moved to San Antonio to begin his career in small animal medicine. He has special interests in internal medicine and surgery. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness, his home gym, and spending time with his wife Amanda, their children Gryffin and Margot, and their pets - dogs Clementine, Peach, Clover, and cat Khaleesi.

Dr. Erik Montelongo

Hi, I'm Amy, Practice Manager at Eagle Vet and Cowboy Kennels. My passion for animals began early, starting with training dogs and cats, then birds for entertainment companies for nearly 10 years. I've rescued and fostered over 20 kittens. I joined Cowboy Kennels in 2019 as a part-time kennel tech and became Practice Manager in 2021. In 2025, I took over Eagle Vet, aiming to unite both teams to better serve clients. Outside work, I enjoy relaxing with my husband and daughters, Ocean and Coraline.

Eagle Veterinary Hospital has earned a trusted reputation in San Antonio, known for individualized care, lasting client bonds, and compassionate service. We value respect, communication, and doing what's right for every patient and family.


On January 8th, 1996 (Elvis' Birthday), Dr. Kirlin purchased Nagle Veterinary Clinic. He renamed it Eagle Veterinary Hospital due to the increased services he immediately offered and planned for the future. He has since grown his practice into a cornerstone of Olmos Park and is still very active in the Community.

After purchasing the practice Dr. Kirlin started planning for a new hospital that would be both less strain on the environment and have all the things that in his eyes had been missing in veterinary clinics. He designed a building with large amounts of natural light and more open space for the benefit of his patients, his staff, and clients.

Our facility has separate areas for different species, water reclamation tanks and the list continues. The Eagle Veterinary Hospital that you see today is the culmination of that spirit, drive, and vision that Dr. Kirlin has had for his patients, clients, industry, and the environment. Our facility was awarded the highest level of LEED certification that is attainable, Platinum!

With that being said, we would like to extend our thanks for all of the support and trust for our hospital over the years and also welcome any new clients and patients that would like to come to say hello. Your overwhelming support has allowed us to grow into what we are today and we look forward to continuing to be the Hospital and Staff that provide a caring and safe environment for your pets.
